Blairsville, GA – The Conservative Business Alliance (CBA) in Union County and the Mountain Movers and Shakers (MMS) in Towns County are pleased to co-sponsor a forum for those qualified candidates seeking the Republican nomination in the new 9^th Congressional District in North Georgia. The forum will be held at the Civic Center in Blairsville, 145 Wellborn Street on Thursday, June 28 at 7 PM.

Candidates include State Representative Doug Collins, White County Elementary School Principal Roger Fitzpatrick, and Radio Talk Show Host Martha Zoller who have all confirmed their attendance. The forum will be moderated by John Vanvliet, Associate Professor of Business and Public Policy at Young Harris College.

Concerned citizens throughout the new 9^th Congressional District are encouraged to attend the forum and submit potential questions for the candidates in advance to CBA spokesperson Patrick Malone at ptm4936@aol.com or 706 835 1308 during normal business hours. The moderator will select the questions to be asked during the 75 minute forum and each candidate will have ample opportunity to respond to the important issues and concerns of the day..

The Mountain Movers and Shakers (MMS) is a conservative group of men and women in Towns County reaching out to the community’s many needs, raising voter awareness, and providing political education on the important issues and races that directly affect their community.
