Hiawassee, GA – “Selling to Seniors” with Ron Simmons of the SBDC (Small Business Development Center) in Gainesville will be teaching a very affordable two hour workshop on Thursday evening, June 7 from 6 – 8 p.m for the Towns County Chamber of Commerce. Ron Simmons has been with the SBDC office in Gainesville for a number of years and has been teaching and counseling business owners on a wide variety of topics.
This class is perfect for this northeast Georgia region because of the large number of Baby Boomers retiring and moving to the mountains! Boomers do things a little bit differently than their parents (who by now may be in their 80′s and 90′s). One big difference is the usage of the internet and how you as a business owner can appeal to the Boomers through the internet. This class will show the best way to market using the internet, how customers use the internet and how the new “Senior” behaves while shopping online.
