Murphy, NC – WagonMaster Adventure Ranch Fun Park & Gem Mine offers outdoor activities with a rustic flare.  Mini golf, gem mining, wagon rides, and gold panning are great hits with adults and kids.  Adults and kids also love the unique target galleries for paintball and air-soft BBs.  You shoot ghost town targets in the gallery- not each other – so no bruises.  Other activities are designed just for kids like the bounce castle, mini truck track, and dune buggies.

There is no admission fee to the park and guests can do one activity like gem mining or combine several activities with the discount packages.  There’s no charge for the free picnic areas, volleyball, and an inspirational nature park.  Cabins, RV sites, and tent camping are also on site.  Special packages and extra discounts are available to churches, schools, and other groups.

Owners Jim and Debbie Rodby moved from Tallahassee, Fl in 2004 and began building the park with a focus on nature and the ambiance of a Christian environment.  With 6 grandchildren, they knew how hard it was to find affordable, fun places, so making it affordable was a primary goal.  They were able to emphasize nature by milling their own trees and using rocks and logs rather than concrete.  Jim and Debbie recently opened their 3rd season with new activities: gold panning and fossil mining.  They plan to continue adding new activities in concert with the beautiful mountain setting.
