Atlanta, GA – If you have a smartphone there is now a new app that can help you be prepared for the next emergency. The Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) and the Georgia Department of Public Health is launching a free mobile app for I-phones and Android devices. The Ready Georgia mobile app is an interactive tool that makes it easier than ever to be prepared for emergencies. The app features severe weather alerts and information on other emergencies like pandemics or terrorist attacks.
