Blairsville Office will Serve as Constituent Resource Facility
Blairsville, GA – State Representative Stephen Allison (R-8) has opened a District Office to better serve his district constituents within the north Georgia mountains. Located at 103 Blue Ridge Street in Blairsville, the office will be open to the public Tuesday through Friday from Noon to 5PM.
Newly appointed staffer Mark Wolchko, Constituent Services Director for Allison, will be on site to help answer questions, relay concerns and information to the Representative while the State Legislature is in session in Atlanta.
“I am excited to have a district office that can offer service to those in the community without the need of travel to the State Capitol,” said Representative Stephen Allison. “The addition of a staff member in the local office will help response times and give constituents an avenue to reach me while I am on the floor of the House.”
District 8 is comprised of Rabun, Towns, Union, and a portion of White Counties in northeast Georgia. All constituents are welcomed to contact or visit the office. Appointments for Saturday and other times may be made by calling the office (706) 781-3929.
Allison, re-elected to a second term in November 2010, currently serves on the Appropriations, Economic Development, Game, Fish & Parks (secretary), Higher Education, and Judiciary – civil (secretary) committees.
